Jury Scams are on the rise! The District Courts will never attempt to make contact with you via telephone, email, text to notify you of Jury Duty, or any fines or warrants for failure to appear for Jury Duty. If you have been contacted in this manner, you are advised to report it to local law enforcement.

The mission of the Eleventh Judicial District and Magistrate Court Pretrial Services Program is to provide objective, accurate information to assist the court in the release decision-making process and to provide supervision and services that promote public safety and future court appearances.

Goals and Objectives

The Goals and Objectives of the Eleventh Judicial District Court’s Pretrial Services Program is to maximize defendant release rates at the earliest possible time after arrest while minimizing failure to appear and danger to the community. This is achieved through a continuous screening process and the supervision options made available to the courts.

McKinley County Pretrial Outcomes for FY24

1,016 Public Safety Assessments and background investigations were completed with the following outcomes:

  • Release Rate: 74%
  • Appearance Rate: 85%
  • Public Safety Rate: 90%
  • NVCA Rate (Rate of defendants that did not commit a new violent crime): 96%

San Juan County Pretrial Outcomes for FY24

3,284 Public Safety Assessments and background investigations were completed with the following outcomes:

  • Release Rate: 78%
  • Appearance Rate: 85%
  • Public Safety Rate: 86%
  • NVCA Rate (Rate of defendants that did not commit a new violent crime): 94%
